(*) Joe Richards (aka aka Bus & Car) has been a great contributor to our Eagle International Forum. He has a great library of Eagle information and has been working on a project to compile/document Flxible and Eagle production records based on his collection of information. Joe describes his background as follows:
The military had me on the go from Vietnam to Italy and a good number of places in between. I've visited the Setra factory in Germany, the MOL (ex- Bus & Car) factory in Belgium and the Eagle International Factory in Brownsville. I've been interested in buses since grade school and first became a fan of Twin Coach and later Flxible. Eagle got added in the early 60's after I'd seen a few of them.I was a part time member (I started while being a student and later the Air Force became my day job) of the trade press. I wrote a couple of articles for National Bus Trader and many more for Bus World where I was a Contributing Editor. That gave me access to people and information that I would have never gotten otherwise. I also made a number of personal friendships while doing this and that opened even more doors for me.
Technical Archive Forum Added
As the result of a suggestion by one of our forum members, we have created a new forum that will be used to archive detailed technical threads that have high priority for Eagle Bus Owners. This forum will mainly be used to ask questions that do not require detailed responses.
Selected threads from this forum are being moved to the Technical Archives so that they will be a bit easier to review. Only the threads that are deemed to be high priority will be moved. Once transferred here they will be locked.
Clear as mud? Think of this forum as a forum that allows quick questions to be answered with fairly simple answers and the Technical Archive forum as a mini-technical reference manual.
