A new Technical Archive Forum has been created

Post by beltguy »

As the result of a suggestion by one of our forum members, we have created a new forum that will be used to archive detailed technical threads that have high priority for Eagle Bus Owners. This forum will mainly be used to ask questions that do not require detailed responses.

Selected threads from this forum are being moved to the Technical Archives so that they will be a bit easier to review. Only the threads that are deemed to be high priority will be moved. Once transferred, they will be locked.

Clear as mud? Think of this forum as a forum that allows quick questions to be answered with fairly simple answers and the Technical Archive forum as a mini-technical reference manual.

I have to admit I was not a big fan of creating yet another forum on our site. However, my discussions with the person suggesting the archive forum persuaded me that it would be good for newer members who were looking for detailed threads that contained "reference manual" quality data.

I have been reviewing all the threads in Eagle Tech and that reinforced why the Archives forum was a good idea. There are 42 pages of threads. So far I have made it to page 15, and moved some thread to the new forum.

Now, I need your help. If you know of threads in the Eagle Tech that should be moved to the Archive forum, please list them here.

Thanks

Had I seen this before I just wrote and extensive post on the a/c and generators, I would have posted it here. Next time.

Is there a source for service manual downloads?

Karl, I don't know of any site where you can download either the maintenance or parts manual.

My CD versions were purchased from busforsale.com. I went to their site, but they no longer list. I am not sure it is the same company. My versions were missing some pages, and I never got that squared away.

I found a couple of places that have Eagle manuals:

http://busfixx.tripod.com/busservice/id40.html

http://www.coachinfo.com/All_About_Buse ... _Info.html
