To all of our Eagle Friends,

Becky's Father passed away yesterday after a bout with cancer, he was 81. It was not a good Thanksgiving for the family, but we know he is in a much better place free from the pain he was suffering. It has been a rough month, but we are blessed to have many friends who are providing strength and caring.

God Bless,

Paul and Becky

Paul,

I am sorry to hear this news. Knowing they are in a better place doesn't help those of us left behind to miss them. I've been blessed to have a lot of my elderly relatives stay with me late into my life too. In a way that makes it all the worse when they are called home. But I guess the trick is learning to be thankful we did have them for so long.

Tell Becky that she, and your whole family, have our prayers and condolences. Will this change your plans for Ireland or can you move it around so you can stay home with her?

Hi Dale,

Thank You for the kind and heartfelt words.

I am waiting for my wife to let me know when the service is scheduled, then I will more than likely delay my trip until after. It all depends on several things to fall into place before any decisions are made. They might have to send someone to get things started as we have a deadline to meet. We'll see.

Andy, I'm so sorry to hear of your loss, it's not an easy thing to deal with, but knowing that the fight is over is a relief. I'm just glad that he is in a better place, free from the pains of this world. The journey that he experienced the past month was remarkable.

Take care my friend and God Bless you and your family.

Thanks Sonnie and Wayne for the condolances, it means a lot!

Paul~

Van and I are sorry for the loss of your Father-In-Law. Andy, we are also sorry to hear of the loss of your Mother-In-Law. As you may recall, I lost my Grandmother here awhile back so our hearts go out to you both. If you need anything, don't be shy; just ask.

Paul and Becky~ Thanksgiving can have a positive side too. The day the good Lord took your Father-In-Law home free from pain, and a Thankful place to be.

Good bless you all through the hard times and good!

Thanks Van and Cheryl,

It has been decided that we are going to do a cowboy funeral, a local cowboy preacher, jeans, white shirts and boots. It should be differant but that is what her dad wanted. The family is gathering sharing old memories and good times.
