Paul, you do have a point - I actually did want to get some of the pipe compound but I didn't get a chance to. I will get some this weekend and do that. My new seat belt is coming UPS Friday so I wiil do both things then. Thanks for your compliment and the suggestion. Now all I need is the chance to take it out on a long trip to really get the feel of the new seat.

Manny, You will love the ride, good luck and break it in easy!
One other thing, on brass to brass fittings you don't need any sealant, they do a pretty good job on their own. If you do, use just enough to coat 1/2 of the threads when going into a pipe thread. Also don't over torque them, they will crack. Don't ask me how I know!

Re: Manny & Darlene's Eagle 05
Manny,
Quick question. I noticed that the front of the shotgun seat was hanging out over the steps. Is that hard to sit in? Does your wife find it uncomfortable?
We are working through that issue right now. We are trying to figure out mounting, and position of the shotgun chair.
Thoughts?
Thanks.
God bless,
John

Re: Manny & Darlene's Eagle 05
John, my wife has not complained about being uncomfortable. She doesn't sit up front too often, but when she does she said it is fine. The only problem with the way it was done in our Eagle is that your feet dangle because they did not put or make a slide-out platform. One nice thing though, is that the passenger seat does not stick out and leaves a clear passage up the entry steps.
