Re: Cooling it in Carolina
Hello Everyone,
We just got back from the "Cooling It In The Carolia's" bus rally hosted by John & Tarra Mellis at Santee State Park, Santee, SC.
We had the very best time as you can expect, John & Tara did a great job at organizing and there was no, not even 1 glitch. Even they had fun.
There was representation from the West Coat and the North and South, some of these coaches were of the highest quality conversions I have ever had the privledge seeing. Man, what a goal to set now, I'll never make it.
I want John to write you all the business that went on, but want to thank them so much again for the hard work organizing this and with the help of Tommy & Karen Hamrick as well.
I have taken a lot of photos, I will forward some to Dale as I know he wants them so I will try to accomplish that tonight or tomorrow morning. I am sure that John will post a few photos as well that he took and I will post when all the photos are ready and video I will make for viewing on the 3 busnut bulletin boards. You guys in the West Coast or therebouts were very, very well represented and the owners of these coaches were about the nicest people you would ever want to meet.
Thanks again John & Tara, we will see you at Palmetto Cove in April & the same to all those that attended John & Tara's Eaglesinternatinal Rally at Santee this past weekend we hope you can attend the Southeast Busnuts Rally at Palmetto Cove at Cleveland, SC in April as well.
There gonna have some really great Blue Grass Music at the SEBN rally as well for those that love this and who couldn't.
Gary

Re: Cooling it in Carolina
It's official. rally is complete. I'll post some pictures for you here shortly. Tara & I were joined by some very wonderful people. We look forward to the beginning of our new found relationships. As I looked around at the setting of the campground it couldn't have been more fitting than to place these gorgeous Eagles in amongst the trees of the State Park. You almost wonder how they got parked & how they got back out. Thanks again to all who were able to come. Dittos to Gary's comments. As to the business part of it all what's there to say. We just had a good time. Guys talking busses, gals going shopping. I tell ya it don't get no better than this! But seriously part of our conversation time was spent talking about future Eastern Rallies. We South Carolina folks will certainly do our part & will be looking to different venues for these events. Thanks go out to Tom & Karen Hamrick, Eric Brown, & Gary LaBombard for being available for any needs that came up. Thanks again to Eric for his seminar on cabinets, walls, etc.
Thanks to Bill & Arlette Klein for dropping by early to visit & end up helping get the bus ready for the event. Pictures on the way.
