Rick, it looks like they did a great job on the hitch.  I am anal about loosing a car/trailer, so I run safety chains from the further up on the engine rails to the center of the hitch so that the car/trailer chains connect with both the hitch and the auxiliary safety chains. 

Very interesting exhaust design.

  I got the LED bulbs from SuperBrightLEDs.com  https://www.superbrightleds.com/?msclki ... 2029fb596e
   They are direct replacements for the standard incandescent bulbs.  They are definitely brighter than the regular bulbs, but not as bright as I had hoped.  Of course if I was willing to pay more then I would have the "SuperBright LEDs"!

Hi Jim,
  I agree about worrying about the 'toad', I can't afford to replace the Jeep if it went astray!  The exhaust system is different, isn't It? I've noticed that most of the Eagles seem to have very individual designs.  I would love to have it exhaust out the top of the bus, or to the left, because it's blowing right on the jeep!  I did buy a 'Toad' protector from Blue Ox that attaches to the front of the Jeep...I'll post pics of that this week.(It has to be assembled.)

Rick,

The hitch looks strong enough, maybe heavier than needed, and it looks like it was welded to the frame. If the engine was to be slid out, would the miter box and oil pan clear the hitch? The exhaust setup on your bus was just used for a couple years on Eagles (along with the air intake scoop). You don't have to continue with the way it was originally. I would eliminate the rectangular tip and run the round pipe to the driver side. Then you could see your exhaust in the mirror and your towed vehicle won't be smoke basted, guard or no-guard. The hitch will be the lowest item on the rear, and will be the first thing to drag on uneven ground. You might need a skid plate or wheels to avoid getting hung up, if you go to rough campgrounds or severe pavement dips leading into business entrances (some of the places in Branson, Missouri are bad for this).

Your destination sign looks good, I used the EXPRESS sign on my Model 05 all over the country back in the nineties. The only problem was people asking me where I was going, and if they could buy a ticket. Having all the windows still in adds to that effect.
