Windshield trim is finally finished.


After 10 years it is finally,.almost, nearly, finished.
I guess I built it backwards, starting at the rear and working forward, but at the time the bedroom was the most important project. We built it for full time live aboard, and comfort was the most important feature.


We are taking a road trip for a few days, then she goes on the market. As much as we love our bus, we just can't keep her any longer.

I noticed you said you have the bedroom TV hidden behind two way glass, do you have a picture of that?

Did both TV/s the same.
The TV's show through when it's on. When off, it's just a mirror. Rabbet the cabinet face frame and bead in the glass with clear silicone.

Don't know if there is any thing to say that hasn't already been said,cept to say we hope all works for you folks ,that maybe you won't have to give up 6465 after all the attention to detail that got put into her.you should be very proud.

Thanks to all for the kind comments, but due to the economy and pressing medical issues, we need to sell our bus before winter. Right now I'm trying to get all my ducks in a row.
Years ago I thought when times got tough, I'd just take the wheels off and live in her, but time changes everything.

Julio, You had a question about a shower. I used a neo-angle fiberglass shower from Home Depot. I ran the copper line to the fixture and shower head in a double wall, the rear is the bedroom wall. If I needed to get to the pipe, I could remove the Oak skin on the bedroom wall which is held in place with moulding. This pocket also allows for a conceled pleated door, made by the same company that made our privacy curtain, which gets tucked away when traveling. Very confusing I know,
but I'll be glad to post a picture??

Here's a easy fix to keep that sliding door closed while in motion, without have to drill holes and install a latch. A 2x4 covered with carpet. Stows in the bottom of the pantry cabinet when parked.
