Here are some pictures of installing the upper siding. It is .125 6061. It was milled so everything lapped so no water could get behind it.

Some pictures of the joint finish of the upper siding. I could not get a sheet over 6 foot wide to cover the upper section. ( nor would I want to handle it ) I milled both pieces so they would overlap. I then filled the joint and finished it in hopes i would not have to use a trim piece to cover the joint. Well that didn't work and I will have to use a trim piece. But with that method there is little chance water will get behind the siding. Also the roof is over the siding and the silver side is under the upper siding as I milled the bottom edge so the lower siding will go behind the upper siding.
