Very interesting but our laws are very confuse, the last upadte in 12/2008 was only for year model 1999 vehicles paying 10% plus 15% sales tax and others have to pay 50% plus sales tax as I said previously.

This week I was talking with the customs broker and he said that the authorities finally "said yes" to the importation and maybe they will accept a comercial value of $17,000 US dollars and this means that I have to pay something like $12,500 plus other charges from the customs broker.

We won the battle but the dream is very expensive and I preffer to let the Eagle fly. :cry: :cry:

Julio,I wish there was something more pleasant to say to you,maybe you need to move North,there's plenty of room here in the states for you and your dream
And I thought I had problems,this simply put,throws a wet towel on things ,but you know what is best for you and yours ,wish I could help some how.Please think this over one more time.good luck
