Thanks again for the kind words. The boss says its a good thing it has a bedroom because if I spend much more time on it I may be sleeping there!! Its just when you have spent 5 or 6 years tearing out it is fun to finnally put back!! But some of us are collecting sooooo many buses that we may not know which one to start with. John I really like the original 05 you bought. It looks like it is in great shape from the pics.

Tiled wall behind counter. I used a 2" x2" stainless tile from metal matrix.

You do fantastic work Eric!

It's amazing what a guy can do when it snows, huh!

I think I'll quit posting in my project thread and go hide in the weeds someplace!

Keep posting em Paul. Thats the way we all get ideas. I just wish you had posted the toaster cubby before I finished the kitchen cabinets!!! Still lookin at that one and where I could incorporate it. The stainless tile idea actually came to me when I saw your tinned ceiling. See how you work inspires :D

We all dream of that day when we finally pull out for the first time. After 9 years I have experianced that! I made a trip to Santee for the Eagle rally first. Met some GREAT people with some of the nicest Eagles!! Even saw the Eagle that inspired me when I first started my project!! Byron and I realized it was his bus after we talked for a while. I just had the location wrong.

Saw some amazing cabinetry!!

And one heck of a paint job

This was my first Eagle rally. I had seen pics of some of the busses, and had chatted with a few of the people on the board. We had people that came from California, Washington state, Colorado, Missouri, Kansas, New Mexico, Rhode Island, North Carolina, just to mention a few!! We toured John mellis's taxidermy and had a blast. P.S. The ones on the wall are not Eagle owners even though they may have been run over by one at one time or another!

This week we headed out on the big adventure. My daughter's high school senior spring break! We stopped first at Oak Plantation in Charleston. A great rv park only 10 min. from downtown Charleston.

From there we headed down the coast.

Of course my co-pilot is always on the job!!

Through Saint Augustine to Flagler Beach. There we sat right on the ocean.
