Mike, After looking at your pictures it still amazes me how over built the Eagle bus is. There was a lot of that bus missing and it still was able to go down the road. Keep up the good work. Just go slow and always look around to make sure things stay straight when you are welding. I used stringlines all over the place to watch what was going on. I come from a carpenter back ground thus stringlines. Lasers work just as well and they don't have to be put back together when a spark or a grinder hits it.

Mike- How is it going? I was checking on your thread and noticed you had not logged in since the day you started work on the Torsilastics. Those things are dangerous. Just hoping you didn't get squished like a bug!

It's funny you asked. I mover the bus a month ago to a better location away from the door of my shop. Then today a friend and I removed the drivetrain. He bought the engine and the trans is just sitting on the ground. Anyone need it? I'm taking offers. cheap!!! I've been a little discouraged about the damage I keep finding but just ignore it keep going on what I can do at the moment.

I was looking over your pics, your bus is in about the same condition mine is. I hope I can stay motivated throughout the next few years to stick with it until the frame is finished. I keep telling myself it will be all down hill once the rust is gone. I'm trying to invest a bunch of time now in case scrap price sky rocket again I won't be so tempted to cash in, lol. Are you still working on it?
