Announcement Block
As of 12/1/2021, a major update of the forum software was accomplished
Update: 4/20/2024: The Eagles email account at GoDaddy no longer works. I have set up a gmail account as a workaround: eaglesinternational.email@gmail.com (This link seems to work for my outlook email, but may not work for other email platforms. If it does not load, copy and paste the link in your platform.)
Update: 4/27/2024: I am getting some SQL error pages as I click on different areas of our forum. Using the back arrow and hitting the link again usually loads the page. I will wait for a day or two before I have GoDaddy look into the problem.

Re: kameljoe21 1971 Eagle 05
For the floor i repaired any bad spots and laided down 1/4 inch paneling on each side of the bus and put down some of that foam stuff for the 1/4 in flooing and installed it between the alley and the wall once the flooring was in i reinstalled the track for the alley on each side
i used a dado blade to cut a slot on the firing strips on the wall to allow the flooring to stay tucked underneath it here are some photos of the flooring
i chose to do the flooring first because i , at the time knew i would be living in the bus before it will be finished and that would alllow me to move cabinets and other things around ahead of time
wood flooring on each side and a carpet runner down the center

Re: kameljoe21 1971 Eagle 05
I went ahead a change the way the bunks were to be built
as i wanted easy access to engein compartment
So i went straight across side to side
and this works pretty good
Here is more flooring photos
installed 2 new vents in the 2 opening that were there
how the roof on the inside looks
more flooring on the drivers side

so i home that enough to fill it up will do that soon
need to replace one of the hold downs for the AC
then theres the shit relase via air just behind the AC

Re: kameljoe21 1971 Eagle 05
attic foil arrives via ups
i orded 10 firing stips for the floor and 60 for the walls and some extras
i got from a friend for free
some more work on back bunk
The dog is ready to go
Now a bunch of firring strips useing 1 1/2 self taps bolts
my top vertical strip is at 65 inches
after thought i should have placed them much lower as its
on the curve just a little to add one inch diffrence from the top
and bottom top is narrower and bottom is bigger

Re: kameljoe21 1971 Eagle 05
It was getting hot in there so i put up some raidnt barrier
it made a big diffrence
Firring strips to the top
and the cruve part
vents and extra vents ( would have been ac, i think im going to try a basement one )
Bus AC vent markings
this is the out part of the bus air
after thought i should have moved the vent further out in the floor
you will see the photo in a few post of the vents
my bunk frame sits a top of it so i will have to mod it up to make it work
attic foil
best to unwrap using 2 milk crates and a broom handle
side wall install with stapel gun
panel test for color
i got around 30 sheets at 5 bucks each newish
there are 10 to 20 years old
but they work
other side foil
it was like in the upper 90s that day

AC vents
kitchen benches
after thought sat in them a few times and said fuck this
they just dont work and not nice to sit in
but here they are
i worked it out so that the driver seat would go in to the wall
panel install
This was intened for a desk but later on it was changed
gap was going to be a wall run elect and what nots
the out vent is under the cabinet for the AC
and was raised up with 2 by somethings scrape to form a frame around the whole unit
placeing stuff to see how it would all fit
