Well, I gotta say thanks to Eric for helping me out... And for being able to keep a secret! ;)

We got my newly acquired 1993 Eagle Model 15-45 over to Shyster Conversions today and are looking forward to the renovations getting started.

With the help of Dan Lenz, we found out that she is a factory raised roof entertainer coach that was originally shipped to Frank and Todd Bauer in PA. From here it went to Goodson's, and from there it was bought by a Gospel group called The Diplomats.

While speaking with Jim Pearson of The Diplomats, he told me that this is one of four buses that was leased to George Strait at one time. The Diplomats loved this bus. But after some issues with the basement air units, they redid it with four roof airs installed. They brought it home and were testing out the roof airs when some wiring in the walls shorted out and caught on fire! The interior parts of the bus was ruined by either fire, heat, or smoke. All of the generator, inverter, charger and other stuff under the floor was unharmed. We were all totally impressed by how arrow straight the factory Eagle siding still is on this coach. The new interior will be a combination of an entertainer/RV, with both bunks and a stateroom.
Now I just gotta learn to drive a 45 footer! Anyone who has interior conversion parts for sale, let me know what you've got!

Wow Dale, what a wonderful event in your life (I hope :o ).

We have all been so glad that you support our group and once again you have a real reason!

What a good looking bus!!!

Now be very careful of the WWAI disease that prevails at Shyster Conversion  :o :D

Way to Go Dale! Nice looking bus. Hope you'll be able to make it to the Arcadia Rally in FL sometime. Would love to see it in person. IF I was going to get another Eagle I would sure go with a 45 foot. Is it also 102"? Looks like it is. Wishing you happy and safe travels with it.
