A quick report on the wonderful Northwestern Bus Nuts rally that was held Sept. 13-16 at Blackwell Island RV Resort in beautiful Coeur d' Alene. This was a well attended rally, with 37 rigs showing up. My count was 2 or 3 S&S's, 2 MCI, 1 GM, 7 Eagle and 24 Prevost. This is a beautiful park, run by great folks. Right on the banks of the Spokane River where it comes out of Lake Coeur d' Alene. Lots of good food and fellowship. The highlight was a boat tour down the river to Post Falls to view the million dollar McMansions along the river. Weather was perfect. A little smoke drifted in from fires to the south. Kathy and I took a drive completely around the lake and saw deer, elk and moose. I will get help from someone to post pics to this as I don't have Photobucket set up. Eagles were: Joe Melroy, Tom Goldsby, George McConaughey, Ben Neumann, Hal St. Clair, Mel Wick, Mark Renner and their wives. This was the last NWBN rally of the season, next will be Indio in January.

Wow what a disapointment, That is like almost in our back yard and we never heard a word about it. Oh well maybe next time.

It was a Northwest Bus Nut Rally. If you are not a member you should join as they have 6 to 7 very nice rally's each summer.
Pat and Ann Horn along with Ralph and Vivian Harvey put this wonderful rally on.
We also had 15 buses at the Horn's home for a pre rally in Spokan. A good time was had by all.
