Becky and I are heading to play host at Crater Lake RV Park. We are both looking forward to this new adventure and some fishin' too! ;)

We had several RV Parks to choose from that looked interesting. After talking with the owners of Crater Lake RV Park we felt right at home.

The park is Big Rig friendly. So if you are in the area or want to take a detour off I-5 for a few days stop by. We'll keep the light on for ya! ;)

I think you guys are a little confused about the term "snowbird". You're supposed to head south in the winter and north in the summer. Perhaps your compass is broken? :D :D

I know. Becky and I thought the same thing when we headed north last November!  :D

Paul,
Things have been quiet on your end for the most part except when we are watching "bus porn" on FB. Was wondering how the steering refit was going as well as the paint prep? Were you able to get either done before you moved "south"?

We decided to wait on the power steering and the paint until another time. Just to many things on our plate right now. I'm sure y'all know how that goes! ;)

It's road ready and we are looking forward to the short journey south! 8-)

My Dad is in Hospice care right now and his journey is coming to an end. We have been busy making the short trip to Salem to visit family and time ran out.

Paul,
I understand about the plate being too full. Sometimes you just have to put it down for a while and pick it up later.
Sorry to hear about your dad. Hope he is resting well and not in any pain. We will kept you all in our prayers.
Mike

Becky and Paul,
Our Prayers and Hearts are with you dealing with your Dad's Final Journey. Hospice is a wonderful organization and makes it all so much easier to deal with (not to say that it is ever easy). Been thre, done that so I know what you are dealing with.

You never know, we just might stop in and say hello to you while you are in the Crater Lake area if we make it that far over.

My Dad passed away on Sunday night, June 4, 2012. He is in a much better place. We will miss him but will cherish the memories.

He will be buried with full military honors on Monday June 11th at Willamette National Cemetery in Portland,OR. He was a Pearl Harbor survivor, South Pacific and also spent many months in the Mediterranean during WWII.

Becky and I will head down to Crater Lake RV Park on Tuesday June 12th. Then back up for his Memorial Celebration of life in Salem, OR on the 23rd.

Lin and my thoughts and prayers are with you and Becky. I know it is hard losing a close member of the family. Let us know if there is any thing we can do.
