The black tank you see is the wet tank, and you can see
the top of the air dryer below.

I think that Silverleaf is the cats meow!!! You can set it up to monitor everything but your heart rate!!! I had my heart set on the glass dash version till I priced it. The dash would have been worth as much as the engine!!! I do reccomend it!!!

I guess i'm going to have to bite the bullet and get me one. I'm just worried about it being too big sitting on the dash. I guess I need to talk to Jim about the options. Did you have it at the Choo choo rally?

Sonnie,
I knew it was an air tank but I never knew it was the wet tank. I just remember that every time I started the bus, it would make that funny squeaking noise. All of this just reminded me to get my drain fixed on my truck's wet tank. It's probably flooded by now.

I didn't put the laptop up there. Some do. I bought this 9" touch screen remote monitor. My computer is under the sofa. I can touch the screen just like the mouse and do whatever. I paid $ 175.00 for the monitor and it is 12v. I have the computer wired in at 12v off of the inverter.

I have the Silverleaf 440 in my Eagle and love it. If you don't have the room for a big screen, Silverleaf makes smaller dash mounted units. The 440 is full color and doubles as back up camera also. You can check out their products at RV Safety Systems site, or go to

I had to look at mine. It is the VMSPC, from silverleaf. It is a module that hooks into the diag. plug. The other end is usb and plugs into a computer. It is the most cost effective of the silverleaf products. Jerry C. mounted a small monitor in place of his regular gages and the vmspc is his dash. I got it from Jim Shepard. Think it was in the $3-4 hundred range. You can also tie a pressure pro into it.

Hello, Boomer,
Thanks for the reply. I have already been talking to Jim Shepherd about that very unit. He's going to send me some manuals for that one plus one more. It's funny how, Jim, and I just talked about the 440, you mentioned the 440 and how it doubles as a camera monitor, and Sonnie just got the message that he has more work to do ;) .

Eric,
Are you saying that your laptop has to be hooked up to the little monitor you mentioned? I had this thing all figured out. I had the old 7" or 9" tv type monitor in my dash. I was just going to remove it (Sonnie was), have another cable ran (again Sonnie), then mount the 440 in its place. After having a conversation with Sonnie, he reminded me that I no longer have the dash anymore!!! I guess we're (Sonnie) gonna have to figure this out  !!!

...original dash and camera monitor.

Image
...i'm guessing Sonnie is going to hide all that stuff laying in front of the bus, somewhere under here!!!

...or maybe not!!!
