[quote="Dreamscape"]But, it's a dry heat! What's the matter with you guys!

Good read as usual Don. I like the pics too!

Our Michielins (SP) went the way of other things last spring, replacements were over $600 each and much too pricey. I opted for six new Firestones, they do not ride as well, but for the money, they are okay and doing the job. Throw in six new tires, two new air conditioners, a paint shop visit and it is easy to see why a guy would tend to complain about what is what.

(Personally, I call it exaggerating in order to clarify myself)

Now Sonny says that "I don't have a real bus, because I only have one axle" but in this case, it paid off, two less tires, equates roughly to almost two tanks of fuel.

Throw in six new tires, two new air conditioners, a paint shop visit, then there was the air bag thing and mechanicals. Considering all of it, makes it is easy to see why a guy would tend to complain about what is what.

I went with Firestone also. Price wasn't too bad at 2400 for six of them. Get them mounted on Friday! 8-)

I checked the date code on the Goodyears I have on the steers, 455, now that is old! Glad we were just sitting for the most part. Had to get ready for the "Trifecta" coming up!

I have a question about the aux fuel tank. Is that an add on? My 1984 10S only has the 102 gallon in the front bay.

Tom, it is an add on. Steel, custom fabricated to fit the space, holds approx, 65 gallons U.S. Wife is not a big fan of it, pulled her washer (that she never used) out in order to fit it in there. Nice, helps you make it to the cheaper fuel stops.
