On the surface that looks like a really, really awesome setup and someone sure needs to jump on that with both feet. Can you imagine what an awesome finished coach this one will make?

It looks like 01 bumpers. Not sure why you would do that.

Tom, I'm not sure I understand your question, on one axle.

if he changed out to a larger engine, and mine weighs down to over 20000, on the rear axle, i wondered how much his cummins weighs down his drives and what will the eventual weight be after installing genset, tanks, etc. One cummins change i saw, hung out over the bumper so much the doors on the back wouldn't close, but that was an mci.

Tom, Thanks, I now understand what you are talking about.

I'm concerned about the rearward opening door. Eagle doors are enough trouble keeping them sealed going down the road the normal way. It does look like a nice place to start for someone though. I would have to change to later bumpers though.

I have two Eagles with Cummins M-11's. The weight is not a factor. The installation in an 05 fits without modification for either height or length. I have approximately 14"-15" from the rear of the engine to the inside of the engine door.

That M-11 shown in the photobucket pictures is NOT a new engine in any stretch of the imagination. There would be no need to lengthen the coach to accomodate the M-11. It looks like they took the rear of the bus off and built new rails to set the engine on before the installation. It remains offset to align with the drop box from what I can see in the picture.

BTW, I like the 01 bumpers, they fit the front and rear look better! IMHO!

There is nothing wrong with 01 bumpers. It's just a preference thing. And since this bus would have originally had later style bumpers, someone specifically did this to get the look.
