He probably would rather that was the case. He is out of town right now trying to put something back together that someone else took apart and spread all over the driveway. We decided to tackle my project in the fall when I head back down to AZ for winter.

Re: Dreamscape 1968 Eagle 01 - Short Video - Air Throttle

I received the parts yesterday and thought I should test it all out before I slap it all in the hole.

I set the regulator to 85 psi. I'm sure there will be some more mods once I'm able to test it on the initial start up and run.

I should have been talking while filming, but I can only do one thing at a time.

I'm going to have to cut out a hole in the floor under the bed to accommodate the throttle control. I will have to install it after the engine/tranny are in place. It's too tall to leave it on while I slide it all in place. :(

Here's a thought....that may not work....
IF you were to turn the throttle arm over and you fab'd a longer actuater arm linkage, maybe you could lower the servo a bunch and knock out the need to cut a hole in the floor....just a thought.

Great minds think alike. I had thought of that. Measured everything out best I could, still about 1" too tall. Even thought of combining some of the old mechanical linkage with the new. If I can't come up with anything else I'm going to cut out the hole tomorrow. I need to get it all back in the hole. ;)

Keep the ideas coming guys!

Paul check my project page post #13 maybe that would help. If you need me to take more pics let me know. The air throttle that Eric sent you I think came off the engine that I now have (from his bus). I was going to leave it on but it was too tall also. That is why I kept mine. I'll send more detailed pics of mine if you need me to.

Clifford, I'll give Doyle a call. Are you saying that I have the wrong style? Or is modification in order?
