Well Paul. . .Quartzsite ought to give that seat a work-out--time to get in the saddle and ride!

I finished one of two solid red oak cabinets yesterday. It's a corner cabinet with four shelves. I still have trim work to do but you get the picture!
Now I need to tear out the other side I built several years ago, (lousy job) and build one that will fit a flatscreen tv, it will be recessed to contain it.
We sold our Splendide W/D combo, so the build fund increased a bit!

Nice job Paul. . .these ol' things never are finished, are they? I'm still working on trying to finish it the first time and you're already into the re-do stuff! Keep it up, and we'll see you out that way sooner-or-later.

Thanks guys! At least when I do a redo I know how it went together in the first place!
The doors are made from 1x6 solid red oak, glued together to make a full door. I won't tell you what the material cost for the cabinet, I don't keep track!
I buy all of my oak at Lowe's, they have had some real good stock. I'm picky cause I want the grain to look just so.

I'm almost finished with the latest project! We decided we needed a place to sit and eat with out holding our plates or using a TV tray! I'll finish the trim tomorrow then back to work on another cabinet in the bedroom. This is the first time I've worked with granite, it sure is purdy stuff! We went to several stores before finding the right color. They are 12" x 12" tiles, bar is 5' long.

Just had to post a picture of it finished. We actually ate a meal for the first time in our bus at a table, instead of TV trays!

Finally completed the TV and clothes storage cabinet, YEAH!
I needed access behind the TV and electronics so I cut out the wall and installed Becky's jewelry cabinet on hinges and found it a good place to store our bed pillows when not being used.
