While on our "Bus Rally Trifecta" trip Becky saw an RV used parts house, Colaws near Carthage, MO. She mentioned that we need to go there and look for some captains chairs. I silently smiled to myself thinking "Sure no problem". Due to the fact that the air ride for me and the co-pilot for her did not match our decor, they just had to go! For some reason red and blue does not go with earth tones of tan and honey oak.
After we arrived in Carthage for Christy and Larry Hicks rally Bob Gilbert said let's go to Colaws. I was amazed at how much stuff they had, the back forty had at least 400 motor-homes either burned or crashed. What an weird feeling!
I picked up a spare water hose, (Don't buy them from WM, they are crappy China junk) and water inlet plug. I ended up picking a good looking set of seats, sent Becky some pics from my phone for her approval, you know the rule huh! We ended up going back on Saturday morning to take another look and decide what to get.
This is what we ended up with. Two Flexsteel six way power with lumbar, ultraleather captain chairs! Of course I had to install hers and get it wired up to test it out, she had one happy fanny on the ride home! I will install mine after I get a base from my buddy Richard Bishop.
