I haven't looked at the site, I just dove in and went to work!

It's really pretty easy, just get some practice on some soft wood, like a 1x2. When screwing hard wood it takes a fine screw, soft wood takes a coarse screw. If you go to Lowe's the Kreg tool and screws are in the same location, you'll see what I mean.

We had a S&S pull in a few weeks ago that had some vinyl covers over his wiper blades. Well that got my brain a workin'! I had thought of using those noodles you see in the stores for kids playing in the pool and thought it was a pretty good idea. While I was discussing my idea (light bulb moment) with Doug he said why not use the foam insulation used on water pipes. So that's what I did! Cost a mere 97 cents and took less than one minute to install.

I know most of you park your coach in an enclosed building, but ours sits out in the hot Texas sun. I had put on new blades earlier this year I got from NAPA, it wasn't cheap!

Paul, what is the shiny stuff you have on your windows and where did you get it .Thanks Matt

It is foil two sides with bubble insulation material in the middle. Got it at Lowe's in the insulation section. I believe the roll is 36" wide, I can't really remember.

It works great to keep out the sun and also afford some privacy! Cut it a little larger than the opening, so you can push it in the window frame to secure it inplace.

We installed some sunscreens that we made up yesterday. Our first 100 degree day for the year is supposed to happen today. It should help out a lot on interior temps. I did lay them up against the interior glass for a couple of weeks and it did help, but mounting them on the outside should be better. I have noticed an interior temp drop this morning of about 15 degrees.

We need to install two more over the bedroom windows today if I can figure out what problem Becky's sewing machine has. It might need a good tune up or cleaning up.

We bought the sunscreen material at Lowes, along with the stainless steel snaps. The binding is Sunbrella black, which we bought off eBay at $1.00 a yard. Becky said the binding sewed much easier than she thought it would. She used a zig zag pattern on the clear nylon thread, you can hardly see it and it will be much stronger.

We have a total of around $175 for one screen over the driver window, two long screens over the lounge and two screens over the bedroom.

It might not be for the bus purist, but we full-time and we need all the help we can get!

Well I'll tell ya Paul , We spent 400.00 for the same thing you did , Our's was for the windshield and the driver window and the entry door. so I would say you done good Bubba . And it looks as good as ours did if not better . Nice sew job Becky
