Ok, here is an update on our cobblestone floor.
Here I am mixing color into the papermache pulp.
Next is making the big stones.... it's a lot like making hamburger patties.
It takes a week for the stones to dry, then I added a little contrasting paint.
My sister and I worked together to set each pebble individually into the grout, which is also paper mache.
After another week to dry, and another week to add 3 coats of polyurethane, this is the finished floor!
Whew, another task to cross off the list!! woooooo - hooooo!
Hope you all are having at least half as much fun as we are!

Cindy, that is incredible! What a talent you are. you guys had me in limbo trying to figure out how it was all going to come together, great job!
