I have been asked by Bill and Barbara Baker to post this Eagle Bus in the Converted Coach Newsletter that I put out. I thought I would also post it here in the Eagle Website since it is an Eagle.

Good talking with you this morning John..........

I will call the Bakers and see if they have any other pictures they can share with us.
The bus really looks and sounds nice. Reminds me alot of our bus that George and I built.
Will keep you posted after I talk with them.

It is a very nice coach inside and out and it has the extra wide wheels and tires on the front and boggie at least it did the last time I saw it.
He installed those so the coach did not have the normal wided look you get from wideing a 96 in coach
Not that the price is bad for that nice of a coach but in todays market with late model Prevosts selling for less than a 150 g's he may have a hard time getting his asking price.
Fwiw Juilo, Jake and compression brakes are the same maybe he has a Pac exhaust brake also

good luck

That is one cool looking Eagle! Anyone here know what was done to add 6" to the front and rear of the coach to accommodate the engine? Any thoughts on what the interior standup height might be? I'll second the request for a few more photos.

He added 6 inches to engine rails and compartment for the 3406 so he could use a truck rear fliped over to do away with the drop box and the drive shaft would be long enough.
The 6 inches on the front were for cometics so the bus didn't look out of porportion that is great thing about a Eagle just cut and weld and do what you want.
The head room it that coach looks about the same as mine 6:9 when I saw it, he has a lot more than a 150 gs in that coach it was built from the ground up fwiw

good luck
Clifford

Clifford, thanks for getting me straight on that. NOW I see why the coach is 41' feet long. I was thinking that the extra six inches was in height! Are there any restrictions on running a bus longer than 40 feet? Or would you just say it is 40 and smile?
