I was contacted with info on this bus so i want to list it here for anyone who might be interested. Here is what I have been told about it:

1979 Model 05
8V71 natural
4-speed manual
new brakes all around
3/4 adjustment left on suspension
6-8 month old batteries
fairly new Firestones
OTR A/C all removed
Starts right up
Located near Houston, TX

Apparently can be bought at a very reasonable price. Visible rust around caps. Rust is all about floor line apparently.

For more info contact member 'm-werx' here on the forum. He is not the owner but he has contact information.

Thats Very True Paul..But Still A Haul. Thanks Dale.

I Just Got Off The Phone With The Guy And Will Have An Answer Tomorrow As When I Can Pick It Up.

The Bus Sounds Good. Runs/Drives/ & No Tow Truck Needed  I Hope And Pray  The Rust Around The Window Is Ok With Me.My Sons And I Do Metal Work Here At Our Shop So, I Can Fix It. I Really LIKE The 05 Look And Would Not Want To Change It To The 10 Style. Like On My Good Bus. You Just Dont See Many Original Anymore And Its Probably Because They Rust Out Like This Bus Has :o :( :? :x

So...Most Of You Probably Think Im CRAZY..My Wife Included. If You Could Have Seen Her Face About 10 Mins Ago. It Was Priceless  She Said....."You Just Bought One Yesterday!! I Knew This Was Going To Happen" !! So, YES Im Kinda In The Dog House. I Just Told Her...."Im Sorry Honey...Im Sick Like Houlio"

So Paul....How Far Is 30 Miles W Of Houston From You??

Its Just That I Have A Need For A Empty Bus RIGHT NOW.And The Price Is Right. I Have To Understand That The 04 I Bought Yesterday Will Work In The Future But Not RIGHT NOW Like I Need. So..... On The Road Again

Bottom Line Is........I Would Have One Hell Of A Parts Bus :o If Something Bad Happened

Just A Fast Update On This 1979 Eagle... The Owner Is Firm On $6500 So That Info Of $3500-4000 Is Not Correct.

It Can Be Seen Here http://houston.en.craigslist.org/rvs/1481647908.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

I Would Have Liked This Bus If It Was About $3500 Or So. Maybe Even A Little More. But,He Told Me He Was Firm On The Price. O Well..

Thanks To All That Help With Info.

Im On My Way To Get The 1972 Eagle 05 In Arizona That I Bought Off Of Ebay.(Looks Like A Better Deal)??

Happy Holidays To All.
