After seeing Van's post on his purchase I thought, why not!
Kind of neat seeing what I saw when I won the bid back in 2003. I had a bottle of bubbly that night!
Sure brought back lots of memories, all good ones too!

Re: Dreamscape 1968 Eagle 01
I finally got around to finishing the window valence on the one side. Now all I have to do is find the time for the other one!
It's quite a challange making this stuff up outside in my open air shop!

A bus nut buddy took this as were leaving TBR 2009. It's not often I get to see a pic of both us in the coach.

VERY COOL! You both look so happy! I can hardly wait till we have ours on the road.
Also, I've been meaning to tell you that I like the Route 66 theme!

Re: Dreamscape 1968 Eagle 01
That was my wife's idea. After seeing a '47 Clipper at TBR 2009 with a similar themed material, that's all it took! We really like as it fits us and the coach. Becky is also making a quilted spread for our Queen bed out of the same material.
The photo is a happy moment in time, both waving as we head out into the sunset!

Thanks all! I know how much is left to get it where we want it. I've got the rest of my life to make it really sweet, then I'll be too old to drive it. I'll just sit there and dream of days gone by. It's a poor boys dream to escape into another world!

Re: Dreamscape 1968 Eagle 01
We finally bought a cooktop that works! Our first attempt was a counter top type and it failed miserably. I installed this yesterday and we are very happy with the result.
I was surprised to find it only required a 15 amp breaker and minimum 14/2 with ground. I installed 12/2 with ground as that is what I had.
It is a Seaward Princess, model 2247-5200, two burner, 120 volt. Here is a link on where we purchased it, and it's gone down 32 bucks since we bought ours!

Becky made a roast yesterday afternoon and the cooktop performed flawlessly. It sure is nice having a more complete kitchen.
We removed the propane cooktop we never used as we are now all electric.
