As of 12/1/2021, a major update of the forum software was accomplished
Update: 4/20/2024: The Eagles email account at GoDaddy no longer works. I have set up a gmail account as a workaround: eaglesinternational.email@gmail.com (This link seems to work for my outlook email, but may not work for other email platforms. If it does not load, copy and paste the link in your platform.)
Update: 4/27/2024: I am getting some SQL error pages as I click on different areas of our forum. Using the back arrow and hitting the link again usually loads the page. I will wait for a day or two before I have GoDaddy look into the problem.

Converted 1989 NJT Model 20 on eBay
I saw this Model 20 on eBay last week. The seller never could get the pictures to show up large enough on his eBay ad so I asked him to send them to me. I added them to my Photobucket account to make them available for people to view. Pretty cool looking Eagle. It is located in New Mexico.

I gotta agree with Clifford, that is one ugly front cap. Kind of looks like a bug with horns on top! That would have been the first things to go if it were mine! The colors are nice though.

I spent a year in New Jersey Training 1,500 employees and they had dubbed their Eagle's the "horse trailers" due to the rear cap & grills, and they dubbed their MCI's the "shark fin" due to the front cap style.

Don't mean to insult anyone, and yes, to each his own. But.......about the only redeeming quality I can think of right offhand about the NJT's is the SS siding. Oh yeah, and the cheap price when they dumped them.
'Course, Prevost owners think the same way about my Eagle. C'est la Vie.
p.s. hope no 20 owners let the air outta my tires some night.

Re: Converted 1989 NJT Model 20 on eBay
I loved my NJT. I talked to Dan about it a whole lot. There were some things done specifically for NJT but when it comes right down to it, it is just a 96" wide Model 15... with all the wiring be white! haha
I agree that I would have not done all the work on this bus and kept the NJT cap. But at least that is fairly easy to change if someone were to buy it.
Don't have to worry about me letting your air out, Mark. I don't have a 20 anymore. I'm just gonna wait till you get that Kenworth bus all dolled up and then I'll come 'borrow' it from you! haha

Re: Converted 1989 NJT Model 20 on eBay
This Model 20 is on eBay again. I feel bad for the guy. It is a nice bus but since it still has the NJT cap on it I don't think anyone will consider it. He started out at $58k when I first saw it. He is down to $40k and still no hits...

Re: Converted 1989 NJT Model 20 on eBay
Hi Folks,
I'm a newbie here so please excuse my ignorance. I'm with you guys on the NJT caps. Really ugly. Clifford mentioned the house style toilet. What are the drawbacks to using one of those as opposed to one from the RV store?
Thanks, Steve
P.S. Does anyone know anything about this bus?

Re: Converted 1989 NJT Model 20 on eBay
Hey Steve,
Some others might know this particular bus. The only thing I will say is that when considering a Model 01 you want to really inspect the suspension. Replacement parts are practically non-existent for an 01. The alternative is upgrading to a later 05/10 suspension and that is pricey. Lots of people are running 01s successfully so I am not downing all 01. Just saying that it is something to be mindful of and really either know what you are looking at or have someone who does check it out for you.
The biggest things I can think of with house toilets would be that they use a lot of water and they hold a lot of water in the tank to slosh around.
