Yes that is what I thought you are talking about. That is why I said it would be very hard to use a longer strut with the door that I have. If the extended length is longer the barrel has to be longer or there is more rod sticking out of the barrel. Just a note to clear up something the extended length is measured from center of mount to center of mount.
