As of 12/1/2021, a major update of the forum software was accomplished
Update: 4/20/2024: The Eagles email account at GoDaddy no longer works. I have set up a gmail account as a workaround: eaglesinternational.email@gmail.com (This link seems to work for my outlook email, but may not work for other email platforms. If it does not load, copy and paste the link in your platform.)
Update: 4/27/2024: I am getting some SQL error pages as I click on different areas of our forum. Using the back arrow and hitting the link again usually loads the page. I will wait for a day or two before I have GoDaddy look into the problem.

Re: Dreamscape 1968 Eagle 01
No room for the old muffler's. Went with straight pipe instead. I'll post a video when I fire it up. Waiting on the last part of this project, the drive line. Potter Webster is making a complete new one. My old one was not rebuild-able, and I'm not taking any chances.

Re: Dreamscape 1968 Eagle 01
Hey John,
Good to see you back enjoying the forum!
My list is getting shorter, at least I think so. I will hopefully get a real road test in once I add the 01 grill to the front and get that project finished. Right now it looks pretty sick. The prep and paint the outside once again. I'm tired of it looking so bad. I've got some body work to do on the rear then I'll shoot it. Oh, almost forgot. Power Steering will be added
It keeps me out of trouble!
Glad you go the Eagle emblem OK. At least now it will get displayed properly. It sure didn't like being cooped up in the bay of our coach!

Sound like I hear the clock chiming!!! It's so close even I can tell it. Your coach is looking good Paul. At what point will there be fire in the hole??? I know you have an exact time for when you are going to fire it up.
I too want to hear the pipes.

Re: Dreamscape 1968 Eagle 01-First Test Run
Well now, Life is Great!
This is a short video of the first test run of the new motor. Everything went better than I expected. It turned over about 5 times then lit up. Great oil pressure and best part of all, no smoke or leaks!
Transmission shifted into reverse, neutral and drive. Had to fill the pumps. Will do a cold/hot check later. It wanted to move. I had my foot on the brake and shifted back and forth. It was trying to move it the correct direction. Yeah!

Re: Dreamscape 1968 Eagle 01
You switch sides with the manifolds so they come out the front and not the rear then install the mufflers which you will do in time those 8v71 make some racket lol
Glad you getting there that was a good engine when I took it to Mike you may use oil for a while but when I owned it would use about 1/2 gal every 4000 miles,I drove it from Texas to AZ then to Idaho back to AZ then to Or.
it was in the 20's in Idaho and it started in about 10 spins I was amazed how fast it started
good luck

Re: Dreamscape 1968 Eagle 01
One of the comments on my FB page gave a great idea. Instead of the straight pipes, use a couple of Aero's. They are short and small in diameter. I'm going to check it out.
It is loud for sure!
This is actually the first fire up.
