Re: Sargents 1984 Eagle with 14' Slide-Updated
I was sent this information on the beds today.
"We've measured the couch/bed, one in the rear and one in the living room, 44"W x 74"L. There are full pull-out drawers under both "beds". (So in essence, it's bigger than a twin, but 10" short of a full.) Dee, says the couches used to be put in Airstreams, the back folds forward over the seat, and the bedding/pillows can then be rolled up and stored behind the back portion during the day."

Dee
You have a very nice looking Eagle, I'm sorry you have to sell it under these circumstances. In my search for a coach I always seemed to ask the same questions first just to get a better understanding of the bus. I thought I would post them here to help make your ad a bit more complete.
- What model is the bus and what is it's service history?
- How many miles on the chassis and driveline?
- Has the roof been raised, if so by how much?
- Who converted the bus?
I hope this information helps any prospective buyers, best of luck with your sale.

Re: Sargents 1984 Eagle with 14' Slide-Updated
I just received a new update, here it is.
"Dee has lowered the price to $109,000.
It's a Model 10.
Roof raised 7 inches.
Converted by Traditional Coachwork s, Mesa, AZ (with the recession, it is now out of business)
Miles on rebuilt transmission and motor 54,000 mi; total miles on chassis had relatively low number of miles, but don't know the exact number, when bought from air force academy."

Re: Sargents 1984 Eagle with 14' Slide-Updated
Mine (Matts Now) was converted mostly by Southwest Traditional Coach in Mesa also his son owned Traditional Coach in Mesa that where I meet David.
I have photos step by step the way he was taught to do one and cutting corners was not his way.
He is still around if you have questions I can give you his cell number I spoke with him last week trying to get Matt a conversion ID plate for his bus Wilson lost it.
I can furnish some photos from mine and a few from David's and the 37 footer he made for Doc he did good top notch work at a price lol he really charged when your wife starting moving things around
good luck
Clifford
