My Silverleaf 420 is dead on accurate in all regimes. I consider it to be the best money that I have invested in my coach. Wish I had the fuel tank level sensors but Martin told me a year or so ago they were not offering them anymore.

The monitor I bought is a 9" touch screen. I have a laptop mounted that comes on when the coach is started. In the short time I have had it it has almost replaced my analog dash gages. I like the fact that you can pick ang arrange the gages.

This is a view of the engine from the top. There are two sound/fire proof panels that bolt in place under the bed.

I too have the silverleaf. I love it. I hardly ever look at the analog gages. One quick story.

I experienced an engine shut down. Check the diagnostics on the silverleaf. No oil pressure--shut down. I called my cummins shop and he asked how I knew. I told him about the silverleaf diagnostics. He asked if I had analog gages. I told him I did. He said to restart the engine. When I did he asked if the analog showed oil pressure. I told him that it did. He said to go ahead and drive to town where I could pick up an oil pressure sending unit for the computer. The sending unit had failed and told the engine to shut down. The analog sending unit was still working. A quick installation of the other sending unit and back on the road in half an hour. The analog gages proved to be the belt behind the suspenders.

I kept a hand full of analogs for that reason; air, oil, water, volts, fuel, differential temp.

I have been told by several people to keep a set of sending units handy. The Potentiometer on the foot throttle went wacky during my install. One minute it would work the next not. I now have a spare for that one also. I also find myself looking at the analog gages less and less. I like that I can set the display the way I like it. It was definately a good investment. My next thing is the pressure pro that workt with the silverleaf!!

After Ramco quoted $ 1872.00 for chrome mirrors, I decided to have mine plated. I used Browns Plating in KY. ( No relation and thanks Van for the tip!) Exellent work for less than a third the cost.

I also added lights in the bays. I used a microswitch to turn them on. The lights are switched also.

I have realized that I am close to running out of bus project!!! I finished the engine compartment with an enclosed panel and lights. Guess I'm going to need something to work on. Got to playing with the caterpillar last weekend. Ended up with a pad that looks like it would fit a 50 x 60 building with a pit perfectly. Only problem is my wife say's litchen first. Wayne thinks I would be getting off easy as it cost him a new house!!LOL
