Boomer,
The reg. card says 29,000 lbs. However, I was told that Jack at Fla. Coach always had them weighed and titled before the unit was completed for entertainer use. When he ordered a coach it was a shell, no air, or heat.
Nothing inside.
If you stay under 29,001 lbs, ,it can be a camper and not require a DSL license.
This can increase your buyer base when selling the coach.

I have never weighed it.
I hope this info. is correct , it's second hand.
Jim

We are batting a thousand when it comes to hitting deer.
In 2007. I hit a deer in Nov,. replaced headlight door, eagle emblem ,towing door, headlights and corrected frame damage.
2008,I hit a deer in Nov.,same road, ( hway NC 87 between Pittsboro and Graham NC )within one mile of the same spot as before.
We had to replace headlight door again, new bumper, headlights and $800.00 in labor to install parts and repair front frame damage.
I contacted Bobby Easter @ Easter Brothers Coach Sales. he had all the NEW parts that we needed.
We thought we were lucky to obtain new replacement parts.
Deer in this area are a real problem.

If you ever have that happen again, give me a ring. I have two new headlight frames available. You just might want to get some spares. ;) My wife bought them for me for Christmas because they were Eagle parts. I'm going to stay with the duals that I have now. Just need to fix my front because the PO had the same experience hitting a deer. So much to do, so little time! :D

Really enjoying the eye candy!

Wow Harvester, your Project Eagle section is looking great! So glad you figured out how to post the pics. Your avatar pic is perfect! You even have special lettering on your posts (how'd you do that???) Are you sure you're not a computer whiz?

You have a really nice Eagle there. So glad you've joined this board. I feel kind of special because I've seen it up close. That sure was something how I bumped into you that day. Keep those pictures and posts coming.

We were the entertainment in Burlington, Vermont for the International R V show, when we left there,we stopped at the Hershey Pa. Auto Museum. I toured the Golden Eagle bus on display.

Whenever you pass through Nashville you gotta make sure and stop to tour Ernest Tubb's old 64 Eagle. Some great memorabilia in there. Sure made me realize how spoiled we are on the modern entertainer buses!
