Dale,
When we had a fire in our house (1981) in Fountain Valley, CA, there was a product that did a really good job of completely killing the smell of the smoke/burn. I will do a bit of research to see if I can find it. It is a (garden sprayer) spray application, but we had to leave the house for a weekend when the contractor applied it. I will try to do some research to see it I can find it. It might help before you start fitting up the interior.
I will get back to you.

Well, after a nice getaway for Lori's birthday, we got back to Houston tonight and I showed her our new project. I'm pleased (if a little surprised) to say that she is very excited about it and immediately started talking about things for the inside. So now it is time for the festivities to commence!!

Thanks Bill, for info on getting the smoke smell out. Eric believes that since we're going down to metal and then washing it down good that we'll be good. If not, I'll definitely look for something like you used.

Sorry Eric.

I'll tell you what we've covered so far... She says she likes a very masculine interior. If not barn wood, something along that line. (She is a Texan, after all!) She agrees with me about storage... Lots of it! Cabinets over the windows, including the windshield. Sorry, I know you hate that. haha... Not a huge kitchen cabinet. One larger sink instead of two smaller ones.

More to come... Time for another SC trip!

If it has foam, cloth,or wood the smell won't go away I have tried ozone machines and the spray in the H-3 you close it up for a week and the smell is back.
I don't won't to gut the bus so I may sell the thing Sonja can not handle the chemicals or the smoke I'll be watching this close

Mine is already gutted except for spray foam insulation in the rear roof and the plywood floor. Eric's guys are stripping the foam now and the floor will be replaced too. We're starting with just the metal.

Mine is still intact the Villia furniture cleaned up nice and looks good but the smell comes back and it was only a small fire in the bed room from the engine fire melting and burning some plastic .

It would be a huge under taking to dismantle the bus so I am thinking of selling it if I can get my money back

I tried to buy one with roof damage a little older coach but it is up to 56,000 so I bailed on it and Eric lost a job lol

We have a friend that was sent to an Island off of Seattle to build a new subdivision. The house they said would be theirs had been home to a flock of Geese. they ended up spraying it with Kills paint. both isdide and under the house to encapsulate it all. Must have worked they are still there.
