Windshield Washer Installation

The original windshield washer had been taken out when we bought our Eagle and this project originally started as one to replace the air wiper system itself. It quit working on our recent trip to a bus rally in Blytheville, Arkansas (April 2013). I have been researching to replace the air system with an electric wiper system but man those were expensive!

So, the other day I was looking at how the air wiper motor was bolted on, trying to figure out what might have gone wrong with it and I happened to notice a bolt in the center of the motor, that holds the arm - was lose. I tightened it up and what do you know...the wipers started working! I had just saved myself about $850.

Anyway, with all my attention to the wiper system, and realizing how much I had just saved, I decided to tackle the windshield washer system instead. I found the reservoir kit from a school bus parts source online and I found the switch through another company. The whole project took me about ten hours total.

Here you'll see the center bolt by the copper fitting is what had come lose

Thanks Guys. I've been wanting to do more, but it's gonna have to cool down just a bit. Last time I tried working on it during the day I almost got heat stroke. It's awful hot in that warehouse and the humidity makes it even worse. I'll have plenty of projects if and when it ever starts to cool down.

TV Mount

We finally decided since our bedroom TV was Analog and we were only picking up 2 or 3 channels even with cable, it was time to upgrade. Got a great deal on a nice flat screen at Sams club and this one has a built-in DVD player.

I did my research and found the perfect mount so I could angle the TV for the best view from whatever angle I needed it to be. Actually found the mount through Amazon.com. Turned out really nice! So nice, in fact, that I bought another mount for the TV in the front. Only thing left to do is stain the wood.

New Lenses and Housing

I've had these original Eagle lenses with the housing for the past year and am just now getting the chance to put them on. A bit time consuming so I only got one side done today...took five hours, but they look real nice! Some of the old lenses I replaced were hanging on with one screw. The plastic housing that held the screws was breaking apart. They'd been there a long time.

Was the stack a requirement for that meet?

Is it possible to run it out the back and up?
