Looking good, Kevin. I know you grew up around buses. Did you do the conversion on the 10 or will this be the first one?

I've spent a little time over around Anderson. I used to be friends with a girl singer from over there named Cindy Whitfield. She moved to Nashville at one time while I was there but I haven't seen her since she moved back to Anderson many years ago.

LOL on selling the family!

I did the conversion on the '82. It wasn't finished when i sold it. I let it go too cheap! $10,000 and it had a 6500kw diesel generator in it!

Nice Family and sweet buses. Family is really where it is at and, if they love your bus hobby, you are truly a double blessed man.

I finally had some time to clean her up....to see what I actually have. Not too bad. Gotta get started on rust repair around the wheels. Yuck! Gotta replace lotsa metal behind those skins. Not looking forward to that! My new side lamps should arrive today (fingers crossed)!

Well, I finally started tackling the rusty wheel wells. The bus sits at my in-laws house about an hour away from me so it is rather inconvenient to work on it. Anyway, I pulled the skin off of the driver's side two months ago. I bought new wheel "arches", "hoops", whichever you want to call them. I purchased them from Craig at Silver Eagle. Drove up there to get them and dropped them off at the bus and have never had any time to go back and start on it. I am glad to say that I am almost finished with one wheel well and hope to knock out two more in the next two weeks. All in all everything is coming together nicely. I appreciate the tech tips that Eric Brown has given me. I know I have pestered him to death. He is a patient and kind man.
I was gonna sell my bus about this time last year but I came to my senses and decided to bite the bullet and fix her up. I am havin' a ball! LOL!
