Paul,First off your ability to get a job done astonishes me,you really are quite the craftsman when it comes to working on the eagle.Secondly,The ghost eagle has that look, might even wanna add some chameleon. And a very nice job on the window paint so it will change shades as you look at it from different angles, and a nice job on the window, you will like the added benefit of free fresh air. :D Good job

Julio, OK, now I understand your comment. The only problem I have with doing that right now is time. Your idea is a great one, and maybe something to consider. Maybe after I get the last one installed I'll take some time to document the steps with pictures and descriptions. By that time I should have it all figured out! ;) Although most of us who do this type of work do it different than someone else. The idea is the same, but the way each of us go about our projects are different, that's what makes each of our coaches unique.

Van, Thanks for the compliment, although I'm a bit modest, our Eagle will never look like the big boys. We do the best we can with our resources. That's why I'm always looking for bargains. It's the best experience I have ever had, and we meet the nicest folk on the planet, bar none!

We finally got around to installing the valances in the lounge, I must say they turned out darn good for a couple of old folk. We installed two four foot single tube fluorescent fixtures on both sides above the windows. Then used 1x10 pine with a 1" half round on top and bottom edge to soften it up. I then installed some aluminum heat duct tape for light reflection on the back side, it really helped. We liked the Route 66 theme and will carry that into the bedroom, that's the next project.

Just a couple of shots for the BCM. Taken in front the Court House in Albany TX.

Thanks guys!

Yes, Miss January 2010! I'll bet you're drooling already huh! :D

I told Mike and Chad, "It's not finished and the exterior looks like crap". They needed some fill anyway so I went ahead and submitted it. They want to show that even if it's not finished it's OK to show it off. We'll see. I tried to Photoshop it but didn't have time to hide all the blemishes!

I give the credit to my wife, as it was her idea. I just do the grunt work! ;)

I was really hoping to wait until it's finished before putting her on display, but then I thought, that's dumb as it'll never be finished! They twisted my arm, Becky says "Yeah right".

The new owners of the rag have done a wonderful job of bringing it back from the grave. I guess we'll wait and see how good they make Dreamscape look!
