Van, A couple of gauges are dummies until I get the right ones, and of course there's a big hole for the tach!

I'll check wire 35 for power next time I fire it up, if indeed it is for the brake lights I'll have to add another light! :o It had no power when I checked it the yesterday, but I didn't have my brakes on!

Found this push button latch after I saw it in a friends truck with a large sleeper. Thought it was a neat idea, you just push to release the door, push to lock the door. The button is flush when door is closed and locked. Just need to find where you can get it cheaper than 18 bucks a piece. ;)

That's great Dale! Those cabinet pulls are really neat, I like the flush fit when they are locked. Let us know when you will have them available!

Re: Dreamscape 1968 Eagle 01 Kitchen Cabinets

Post by Dreamscape »

What a week we have had! We received our kitchen cabinets on Tuesday, and went to work! Also installed the flooring in the bathroom/closet and kitchen yesterday. Pretty neat stuff, just cut and lay it down. Got some black pipe installed for the countertop stove and refrigerator, now just have to pressure test it. I will do that after I receive/install the access/vent door. We've been working like mad to get as much finished before I have to head out again.

Becky is real happy now that she is able to help out, she cut and layed some floor tile yesterday. It's nice to have her help, as we are able to get more accomplished.

Two Burner Cooktop and Backsplash.

Image

Finished floor tile, looks like slate without the weight.

Now all Becky has to do is pick out the sink and faucet!

Van, I've got January 2010 blocked out for the Q! We will be there come hell or high water! ;)

The flooring is real easy, self stick and lays quick. We found out how well it sticks when I went to move one piece, I said some very unpleasant words! We got it at HD with a bunch of other stuff. It will outlast us that's for sure. $200 to do the kitchen and bath/closet, about 80 square feet. Comes 24 sf. to a box. The main thing is this, my wife really likes it! :D

Becky installed the backsplash yesterday and it came out great. She is very excited because it all came together as she had hoped.

She ordered the kitchen sink yesterday which will go on this side.
