Art and Cindy's 1988 / 15 SunChaser

Post by SunChaserCindy »

After spending several long months putting off starting our own project thread because we knew we had to go through 3 million pictures, we finally have something! This should give you a taste of the past 5 1/2 years (and counting).

Of course, if you want to see all of the 3 million pictures, they are on our website:

http://www.webcove.com/eagle/

Or just the before and after pics:

http://www.webcove.com/eagle/ultrasummaryindex.html

We are now working on the entryway. I'll post a couple of those pics pretty soon.

Absolutely first class, top drawer, take two atta-boys out of petty cash for a job well done. Not only informative but entertaining as well (I especially enjoyed the shot of Cindy doing the welding, as my grand-daughter is fond of saying .... was that for real?).

If watching this doesn't inspire you to get up off of your-you-know-what and get something accomplished, nothing will.

Thank you for sharing, now if you excuse me, I need to go caress my chrome. After watching this I am feeling a tinge of woefully inadequate emotions creeping into my bus world again.

See you in the fast lane.

I'll tell you, after all these years, she still amazes me with some of the stuff she pulls off--whether it be computer stuff (which gives me vomit in my mouth), bus work, or anything else in general she puts her mind to!

It seems like forever, but when she showed me the video she put together, I couldn't help but remember how many folks in our "King of the Hill" block helped us get this project to where it is now. In fact, I think I just got a hangover thinking of how much beer we've consumed in the neighborhood over the years!

To think, we're about in our last year of working on it (at least every weekend). . .I'm gonna have to work hard to keep the beer consumption up or I'm not gonna get any more Christmas cards from MGD. In fact, I'm worried if I slow down, they might not be able to sponsor a NASCAR anymore!

So, that's my excuse!!

Thanks everybody.... it was fun!... both making the presentation and working on the bus.... well, for the most part it was fun... there were times, I'm sure you know! lol. Art and I have learned a whole new level of communication!!

As you can tell, our three youngest grew up during that time. It may have looked like a thousand people helped... and there was! Our poor visitors... because we enthusiastically worked on this every chance we got.... we didn't always let visitors stop the process... we would hand them a tool and put them to work!!! LOL

I should've came down and parked the 20 on your street some nights in hopes that you would mistake it for your bus when the sides were off!
