That is probably a wise choice to discuss it a meeting. All the forums are going away it seems ,F/B is so easy to post videos and photos on ,but one needs to watch what they post there for sure and some thing you cannot do on F/B when people put stuff in a file it's impossible for me to retrieve. There are several pages on F/B just for Eagles even by models.I'll go along with what ever is decided most of the items here have been lifted from this site and posted on F/B anyways I think that played a part with the lack of the posting here.
Kinda of a suckie day for me anyways 3 years to day Sonnie passed away

Very sorry to see this Jim. You and this Forum have been an infinite help to all of us. Problem with Facebook, is the often unfunny and unhelpful comments made. I’m sure they don’t mean to be....but they are nonetheless. Also a bit of “I’ll help you, but not you” situations. I may be interested in keeping the site rolling since my business involves computer work anyway. We should talk.

Jim, one of my goals for the protracted shutdown was a faint hope that someone would be able to keep this site going.

Wayne Schell will be heading a discussion at the Eagles International board meeting in Branson. There is another person who has considered keeping the site alive. If you are fairly serious about the possibility of assuming responsibility, I suggest your contact Wyane: wayne_schell at csicousa dot com

Re: ON HOLD: We are pulling the plug on the Website and Fo

I do not have official confirmation from the club officers, but I am told that the club voted to continue to support the website and forum at the board meeting in Branson. Further, I have heard that a club member has volunteered to administer the website and forum.

Again none of this has been communicated to me officially.

The current status is that the website and forum are active and available for reading/posting.

What has changed is the both are on a minimal maintenance status. That means that the "registration" and "contact me" options are deactivated.

If the person agreeing to administer the website and forum has the proper skills and experience, the transition will still require a significant effort on my part to bring that person up to speed on many features that are unique to our sites. My allocation of resources to this conversion is very limited (part personal resource and part attitude issues).

So, this forum will continue as is for the foreseeable future.

At the Branson rally the members selected and approved a new administrator for the website and forum.

I have been in contact with him and he has a very good background that will permit this forum and website to continue to be an amazing source for Eagle bus conversion discussions.

Like me, he is a volunteer and it will take some time to clean up the forum platform and update the software.

I will have more information in the near future.

Update 11/12/18
The person designated to become the new administrator has a lot on his plate right now. We talked at length this morning and I am happy with his approach.

As is the case with most of us, we have lots of things going on and this administrator function is all volunteer. I think you will begin to see some changes in the next few weeks.

The first goals will be to restore the registration and contact us options. Again, I suspect that will take a few days/weeks.
