New Members: we would love to hear from you

Post by beltguy »

This is an open "letter" to the new members we have recently added to this forum.

Over the past few months we have added a decent number of new members to our forum. Now:

We would love to hear from you.

Many of our new members already own Eagles. Let us hear about them. You can reply to this post or start a project thread.

Many are looking to purchase an Eagle :) :) If you let us know what you are looking at, we might be able to help you vet the candidate. We have several Eagles listed in our Eagle Mall forum, but there are many more available from our members. Let us know what your are looking for - expectations and budget.

Don't be concerned about how you post. If there are any issues, I will be glad to help you. Make the post and if we need to make any changes, I can help with that.

We are a friendly group just waiting to talk about Eagle buses.

Hopefully new members will read this thread. The main reason I created this thread was to get the new folks involved.

This post is to encourage the new members to think about attending our Branson Rally:

There is absolutely no better way to find out as much as you want to learn -- if you can find a way to attend. Even if you have to stay in a hotel, you can still spend a bunch of time picking folks brains and looking at all the different things we have done to our buses.

Hi Chris. Welcome to our forum.

The record I can find for your bus is as follows:

1EUAN8A17FBO31572 AE10 Colonial Trailways Inc. (AL) 8/85
This information is from the "Bowman" database and it often has some errors. On your number, his data would suggest that the bus has an 8V engine rather than a 6V engine your serial number suggests.

I encourage you to start a project thread so that we can all see your progress.
