Anybody down there or going down there? Over on the MAK board some pictures are starting to roll in. I see a few nice Eagles down there already. Wondering if any of our folks will be down there 'representin!'.

If you haven't already seen it, there is a great panoramic photo of the Bussin' rally posted over on the MAK board. Lots of Eagles out in the crowd but apparently still no one from here. We need to figure out a way to get a flyer down there!

If all works out next year the wife and I are going down there. Every other year all the kids and grandkids come to our house for Christmas. Next year we will be by ourselfs and will probably go to Florida to have Christmas with my Aunt. Then go down and spend some time with all those busnuts. I will have a lot of learning to do this year to post pictures but I am up to it  . Then we will have to hightail it back home so I can get the coffee pot to Quartzsite 2010.

We have gone there three times and had a ball each time!!!

All three of our girls and their families (8 grandkids) are in the Denver area. That is great, but it causes a bit of a logistics problem. For sure, we have to have Christmas at our house - long tradition!

What we did each time was to drive down in early December, park the bus at Jack and Paula Conrad's (great hosts) and then flew home for Christmas and back right after Christmas. Pretty darn expensive considering the long trip and two round trip tickets.

If we find a way to recover from all the financial turmoil, and if the business can find a way to at least break even, we will think about going next year.

Maybe we will hit the lotto and can fly everyone down there or charter a jet to fly back home
