As we near the end of this year we have seen fuel prices jump to over $5.00 a gallon in some states and now the price in most of the U.S is below $3.00 and steadily falling ,and according to some fuel co's the price per gallon will continue to fall to around $1.00 a gallon by the beginning of the new year is this possible ?
I don't know the average for D-fuel nation wide ,it is $2.49 here in Vegas ,and why is diesel still higher than gasoline? Will it ever drop back down and be cheaper than gasoline ever again? This has always baffled me .
We still have enough fuel in the tanks to move around a bit but still undecided whether to top off yet or not . I believe crude is well below $50.00 a barrel and still falling ,how long will this last (forever would be nice!).
just my thoughts

Re: Fuel Prices ?
Van, diesel was below 2 dollars in Phoenix Friday fwiw and fuel is going to remain higher than gas for a few more years because of the exports to other countries that do not produce the ULSD ( Mexico 4 million gals per mo) that we impossied on them with our modern engines.

Re: Fuel Prices ?
We found $2.19 for diesel last night in NM. Also $1.41 for regular. Fuel is getting almost downright liveable now! I guess next we can expect a bailout of the oil industry!

According to the GPS we will be home around 8:30PM. We are in CA now driving across the nothings. My wife will have a roast ready for me when I walk in and then a hot bath! It will be good to be home!
