Wanted: Eagle 20 Stainless

Post by Songman »

I know one or two of you have taken the stainless off of your Eagle 20. If anyone has any pieces left laying around I am interested. For one thing I need to build a door. For another thing I have a couple of bay doors that have some dings. They are not terrible but if I could find pieces, I would replace them.

From what I can tell, I am going to have a hard time getting matching stainless from any new sources so this is my best bet.

Thanks!

I knew it would be a long shot to find anything but it was worth a try.

Dan, I'm saving my pennies. Tell Craig I need a deal on Model 25 stainless for my 20! :D

Dale,
I bought a piece from International Bus Parts for my door conversion and it worked out well. I can't remember the price but I recall it was reasonable enough at the time but I would expect some good used material to be a much more economical choice. - Greg

Thanks Greg, I don't mind buying new if I can get it to match. I'm just having a hard time contacting those guys down there. If I can get a reasonable price from them I will buy the stuff for the door and enough to replace all the bay doors. I'll keep trying. Thanks.

Still no luck reaching IBP. I will try again tomorrow. I did talk to Norris about the NOS stainless bay door panels. I was shocked to learn that there are actually two pieces on each door. Did you know that, Greg? There is a seam beneath the black rubber moulding. Anyway... The price for the two pieces comes to about $500 per bay door. I guess if I NEEDED bay doors I would have to go that route but I just WANT them.

Hopefully IBP can do something for me. I really want to get rid of the handles in the bay doors if I have to buy new stuff anyway.
