side light

Post by goldgiter »

I am in need of a side light, not sure of the correct name but it is the one with the cover covering half the lens on a Model 10. I need the lens and the chrome cover, I have the cover that mounts to the bus.
I am also in need of some new or used mirrors, chrome would be nice but not necessary.
Any help would be appreciated!

Wes I will look in my save pile. I don't throw any eagle parts away and may have some. I think the rear are red and the front are amber what ones do you need?

Wes I have a used lens that is is in fair shape. I do not have the half cover. If you want the lens send me your address and I will send it to you. Have you tried Jefferson in OK city they might have some.

Wes. What I have done for the side lens half cover. Is. I have put silver paint in a small bowl and dip only half of the lens.
It has worked for me.

Ramco makes mirrors that retrofit onto Eagles. They are pretty common on the conversions, from what I've seen. I just paid just under $700 for a set of non-motorized non-heated "polished" mirrors (not chrome). They also offer chrome finish, but that will be more due to the material and labor associated with chroming the mirrors. These are cast aluminum mirrors, and you can get them directly from Ramco. Ask for David.

If you want stock Eagle, you may want to check with Jefferson or Ron The Bus Nut.

The Ramco mirrors on the 15 were in good shape. I polished them and sent them back to ramco. They but refurbished them and added turn signals in the mirror for 450.00. I have not received them from ramco but they are on the way will let you know how they turned out.

I couldn't do without the eagle on the mirrors.
