*SOLD* 69 Model 07 for sale - great looking bus

Post by beltguy »

I am posting this for Les McGinnis who does not have a working computer.

The bus is listed here: http://www.rvtrader.com/listing/1969-Si ... -113427434

I was looking at the ad as Les and I talked on the phone and it appears to be a very well converted bus with tons of neat features. The features read like a wish list.

Here is the text from the RV Trader ad:
1969 Silver Eagle Other , Must downsize! looking to sell or trade. $79,900 or best offer. all reasonable offers will be considered. 1969 Silver Eagle Other , Converted into an Rv in 1998, this model 07 silver eagle has brand new 8v 92 Detroit Diesel engine, two flat panel televisions, solid ash cabinetry, corian countertops, tile floors throughout and much much more. Chassis wise it has 15 kw Wrico generator with low hours, solar power, Bigfoot leveling, and a 5 speed Allison transmission. New aqua hot, tires, electric wipers, Hd dish satellite. Queen size select comfort bed, flexsteel furniture throughout, double door refrigerator with ice and water in door. Pensicola dual pane tinted windows with day/night shades throughout. Drivers area is level with the rest of the floor. Converted by southwestern coach to the tune 325,000$ in 1998 and painted at that time for an additional 25,000. Have all records. $79,900.00 760-608-1520 please leave a message with phone number will call you back. Not comfortable with emailing responses.
Les understands that his asking price is high and he is willing to discuss reasonable offers.

Editor note (1/25/15): the asking price has been reduced to $65K

I am bumping this to the top again. Les has reduced the price to $65k.

I have also added this thread to the "Eagle Buses for Sale" on the website:

http://eaglesinternational.net/eagle-buses-forsale

The website page should give better exposure to buses listed in this forum.

We had an inquiry on this bus yesterday.

I called Les and he sold the bus a while back. For those that know Les, he is doing well and will be a campground host this summer. He now has a fifth wheel and truck.
