Julio,
Sorry to hear you have to sell.
I will say that anyone that thinks an Eagle is in their future that does't jump on this deal does not want an eagle!
Good Luck and don't quit the Board.

Eagle 01 1964 for sale - $29,000
Thanks a lot Clifford, I know that in the other board people looks only for cheap GM's for sale, I have nothing wrong with GM's, specially the 4104, but I like a lot more the Eagle style.luvrbus wrote:Power steering yes or no, I posted it on the BCM for you Julio I don't know if it will do any good seems like most of the lookers there are looking for $5000.00 GMs except LongJohn
And not, it has no power steering but I enjoyed a lot driving it from Reno to El Paso.
Thanks for your help.

Nice Coach
Love the paint job Julio, a little off topic as this is such a nice coach Did you ever check to see how much to add power steering? and this to Mr Clifford what automatics can be used with the 8/71 in this bus and may be a ball park figure . Julio i will pm you as soon as i gather some more info i truly would not know how to act without a clutch pedal but after thirty years of holding one down , when do get our coach i want to be on any road that does not have I in front of it(I95,I20,I5,and so on ) lol

Hi John,longjohn wrote:Nice Coach

I never did that but I remember that Clifford said that a power steering from a used Mack Truck could be installed but never talked about prices. Talking about an auto transimission I think that an Allison HT 740 would be the right one but again, never did a check on prices of the whole change, I think that Paul (Dreamscape) could be more specific because he changed an engine and transmission by itself, wow!, I remember the pictures he posted and was a big task, also (obviously) Clifford could be more specific in what involves this upgrade.
Anyway, was wonderful driving a coach in this conditions in CA roads (395) and then to Las Vegas (I15) when we purchased this one from a good new friend (pianoman) and drive it for some days to a final destiny in El Paso. I remember some high grade sections and learning how to drive with the stick and no Jake brake and without a turboed engine, then on the I15 from Barstow to Las Vegas I think that was my driver final exam learning how to drive, first on the long section driving to a high area and after that the most hard part of the trip driving down to Vegas, wheew! that was very stressful! After some days in Vegas the day we departed I drove the coach over Las Vegas Strip at 8:00 AM with low traffic, wow! what a wonderful feelings, check the next picture:
Thanks for your interest in the coach.
