Wanted: Flat Top Electric Range 30"

Post by buscrazyinFL »

We would like to replace the 4 burner electric stove we have in our Eagle right now. It is like new and works great, but the vibrating sound when we drive - -drives me NUTS. I think a flat top would be so much nicer and no rattle. I've been looking on Ebay but they are still close to $400, and that is not in our budget for a "Want" not a "Need" if you know what I mean. Any suggestions on where we might find a new one cheap??? Standard 30" size.

I'd call Bontragers. They seem to have everything.

Manny I don't know what your budget is, but we went with the Seaward Princess 2 burner electric flat top. You can get them at boatersworld.com. They are used a lot in the marine world. I like the compact size of the unit. A little over 300 bucks though. That being said, we have never used it, our convection oven does every thing we need. (I am too fussy to let momma use the stove top and get it dirty. Nuts, I know).

Thanks so much for the suggestions. We don't use the range that often and really don't need a four -burner, but we are trying to get something the same size as what we have in there now to fill in the hole, otherwise we'll have to replace the whole formica piece and I know that won't be cheap.

I've got the two burner flat top one as well. Manny, maybe if you found a deal on something like that you could get something made to go around it to finish filling the hole. Something like a chopping block or something.

That's not a bad idea Songman, if I could find the right material to fit and look nice. A two burner would also give us more work space than we have now.

Thanks for your suggestion.
