This bus had the ZF Automatic Transmission changed to an Allison Automatic Transmission back when I worked for Craig. I believe it is an HT647, not sure off hand. Anyway, the cost of the entire changeover was well over $20,000 alone. This bus also has a T-Drive and no drop box from the factory. Very nice coach with a lot put into it for someone to benefit from.

Yep it is a tee drive but Dan I think it is a 747 Allison real clean bus has ugly as sin furniture lol and that 6v92 sets way back to rear from most 15's with a 6v92

I installed a fuel pump and a pump drive on it for one of the local shops they stopped at Denny's in Needles and it would not start rip the center from the drive fork for the pump

Clifford, the transmission is an Allison HT647 that was modified to carry heavier loads. It is the only Allison transmission that would fit in the bus due to length without any other modifications. The drive shaft when all was said and done was I believe 12-1/2" to 13" in length, the very minimum you can get by with. Anyway it has been working very well.

What made me think it was a 747 I didn't see a step down ring the 600 series use could be it had a different bellhousing and the ring was not needed
