Welcome to the board!! And remember, every dd has a recent rebuild, only a few miles on it, fresh, runs like new, and never ever used a drop of oil!!LOL When you hear that start looking close. If someone tells you their eagle is completely rust free, run forest run. There is no such thing. They all rust. And on the other hand just because it has rust in the fenderwells dosen't mean it is a rust bucket. I have seen several that way and the truss system that makes up the bus be in very good condition. Just my 2 cents worth.
P.S. Follow Jims advise about consulting the board before buying. You would be suprised how many of the eagles these guys know!! It could save you a lot of sleepless nights. Good luck.

Re: Looking for our first Eagle....
Hi there,
I have a 1983 Model 10S. The best I had seen. I was intending to ship it out to Australia myself, But the GFC arrived and the shipping costs blew right out, So it has been stored down in Birmingham, AL for the past 3 years. I have all service history from day one and has only ever been a charter bus. I have worked on Eagles as a mechanic here in Australia since the 1970`s, so I flew over and chose carefully. I had been back several times to check on it. Each time it starts first hit and NO smoke. Wish ones here were as good. I`ll try and post a pic. P.M me if you want anymore info. By the way, it is still in Coach trim, As I wanted a clean slate to work with and my aim was to supply a vehicle mechanically A1. Most of my work here is from owners that spend a fortune on interiors and paint only to be let down in the middle of nowhere from failed mechanical items.
