The Don Johnson Bus Is Back On eBay

Post by PanamaRedRock »

I was noticing that the Don Johnson bus is back on eBay. Is it just me or does it look like the frame is sagging to you guys too?

I noticed that too. . .I was thinking it was maybe just the angle of the front bay door--but, it looks like a 45', and the sag is at the back of the slide-out. I'm not sure who did the slide, but looking at the waves on the skin, I'd probably want a little more info about their level of experience--it'd be ashame if the frame was sagging.

It does sag I have a close up of the front baggage door it has a wide gap at the bottom and closed at the top they tried to match the ceiling at the roof line in other words the slide should have been made shorter and went more in the baggage bays towards the rear and not above the front wheel.Fwiw Hal's is over the front wheel but he knew how to support the slide
It can be repaired we made a cash offer but he declined so now that is it up again guess I'll lower my offer and try again lol.You guys remember a while back when Hal was warning against this on the board here.
FWIW I have seen factory slides in Prevost that looked worse than that one slides cost the hell out of Prevost for a couple of years at first

good luck

I said the same thing last month, http://www.eaglesinternational.net/foru ... f=6&t=1587" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; . I know I can be crazy at times but not nuts! :D that aught to be worth a few duckies off the asking price, no? ;)

I don't know how much it would cost to fix it but if I remember right it sold for around $42,000 last month.
